the castle of fontainebleau

I have been for vacation in Fontainebleau in France, it was so great, so
much that i want to make everyone to discover this City.
Fontainebleau is a commune in the
metropolitan area of Paris, France. It is located 55.5 kilometres (34.5
mi) south-southeast of the centre of Paris. Fontainebleau is a
sous-préfecture of the Seine-et-Marne département, and it is the seat
of the arrondissement of Fontainebleau. The commune has the largest
land area in the Île-de-France region; it is the only one to cover a
larger area than Paris itself.

Fontainebleau, together with the neighbouring commune of Avon
and three other smaller communes, form an urban area of 36,713
inhabitants (according to the 1999 census). This urban area is a
satellite of Paris.Good meal fontainebleau

Fontainebleau is renowned for the large and scenic ,forest of Fontainebleau a favourite weekend getaway for Parisians, as well as for the historical castle of Fontainebleau, which once belonged to the napoleon, It is also the home of INSEAD fontainebleau,
one of the world’s most elite business schools; of the École supérieure
d’ingénieurs en informatique et génie des télécommunications
(ESIGETEL), one of France’s grandes écoles; and of a branch of the
École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris, the Paris School of
Mines, also one of the elite grandes écoles.

Fountainbleau is also near of the castle of vaux le vicomte, the castle of bourron, the castle of chateau-landon, the castle of moret sur loing. And the town of barbizon, the school of barbizon from Impressionist painteurs.

Impressionist painting remains the
most attractive period in the history of modern art and the most
appreciated by the public . Series of exhibitions, an abundant
literature and record sales give evidence of today’s extraordinary
resonance of works of the Impressionist painters, of which a number are engraved on our artistic conscience .

At their time, Impressionist works
appeared to be so outrageously modern, that it took their
contemporaries more than thirty years to finally admit them – if not to
like them -.

Chateau de Fontainebleau

The fountainbleau’s palace introduced to France the Italian Mannerist style in interior decoration and in gardens of lenotre,
and transformed them in the translation. The French Mannerist style of
interior decoration of the 16th century is known as the “Fontainebleau
style”: it combined sculpture, metalwork, painting, stucco and
woodwork, and outdoors introduced the patterned garden parterre. The
Fontainebleau style combined allegorical paintings in moulded
plasterwork where the framing was treated as if it were leather or
paper, slashed and rolled into scrolls and combined with arabesques and
grotesques. Fontainebleau ideals of female beauty are Mannerist: a
small neat head on a long neck, exaggeratedly long torso and limbs,
small high breasts—almost a return to Late Gothic beauties. The new
works at Fontainebleau were recorded in refined and detailed engravings
that circulated among connoisseurs and artists. Through the engravings
by the “School of Fontainebleau” this new style was transmitted to
other northern European centres, Antwerp especially, and Germany, and
eventually London.

The golf of fontainebleau and the tennis of fontainebleau are also very nice to see.

In August 2009, The citizens of fontainebleau proudly welcomed one of the best pastry chef of France,
Yvan Le Pape. A rising star at an early age, Yvan Le Pape trained as a
chef and began his career in France , 22 years ago. In the bakery
there, he worked with the boulangers and became captivated by the
ritual of afternoon tea and the beautiful and intricate pastry he saw
each day. Still convinced he should be versatile in the bakery to
become a pastry chef.

He is best known in Paris for the
innovative desserts he created while serving as Pastry Chef at the
palace, first in Italie, in Belgium and now in Fontainebleau. He worked
16 hours a day just to learn how to make blown sugar. He worked also with one of the biggest baker a that time who make the best bread of fontainebleau, the best pastries of fontainebleau and the best chocolats of fontainebleau. Well all of this! Chocolat tabacco
